Sustainability is in the center of everything we do. We have a strong commitment to minimize our environmental impact, and make sure we are part of the environmentally friendly, gentle tourism movement.
Our energy efficient surface heating and cooling system ensures that you can enjoy a reasonably cool apartment in the summer, and cosy warmth in the winter. It works with cold or hot water in the ceiling, so you won't come across dry air blown directly onto you, which makes it healthier than any traditional system. Every apartment has a thermostat so that guests can set the ideal temperature they are happy with.
The thick insulation of the building and the triple-glazed windows and the electric shutters make sure, that it is easy to keep a comfortable temperature with minimal energy use.
Greenery is everywhere in Marone Suites as we believe that it calms the soul to see vegetation around you. The apartments are situated around a garden and all of them has plants on their balconies/terraces/french balconies.
We made sure that everything is climate-friendly, suitable for the local weather conditions, and requires as less watering as possible, while we planted locally widespread species.
The cosmetics provided for our guests is cruelty free, vegan, contains plant-based ingredients and organic extracts, it comes without colourants, parabens or silicones, in a refillable bottle made from 100% recycled PET. It is a modern interpretation of the traditional, with notes of citrus fruit and musk for a sophisticated fragrance collection designed to gently cleanse, condition and moisturize skin and hair.
Marone Suites is ideally placed to be able to be reached by sustainable transportation. The underground and the tram is only a few minutes walk, several bus lines has a stop in the next corner.
Also a few minutes walk till the next rent-a-bike station operated by Budapest, and several e-scooter companies operate in the neighbourhood. For those who arrive by bike, there is bicycle parking in the building.
The taps in the bathrooms and kitchens are water-efficient, just like out toilets. Our guests have the option to use our towels multiple days, or opt-out of daily cleaning altogether, especially for short stays. We use only eco-friendly cleaning materials, and recycle our garbage. Our guests have the option to collect their garbage separately as well, so that it can be recycled.
We use energy-efficient lightning, with LED lights wherever possible, and lights connected to movement detectors in the common areas. Our garden lights are set in a way which reduces light pollution.
We do not use one-time cups, mugs, plates or cutlery anywhere, and try to reduce the use of plastic bottles as well. We encourage our guests to drink the tap water instead of bottled water, as it is perfectly safe and clean.
